Prior to pursuing a career in Physical Therapy, Lindsay graduated from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. She was then employed at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC in the Social Work department. Here Lindsay helped families navigate the process of having a sick child in the hospital and ensured that families were ready to care for their children once discharged. It was during this job that she discovered a greater interest in the medical field and decided to return to Physical Therapy school. Lindsay grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia and was an active athlete during high school, playing on the tennis and track teams. She has always been involved in volunteer and community work and has traveled to several third world countries on mission trips. Lindsay is currently active in the Richmond chapter of REACHcycles, which provides adaptive bicycles and tricycles to children with special needs. Lindsay is very thankful for the opportunity to join the Gait Center team. She values The Gait Center's individualized approach to therapy and looks forward to helping her patient's be the best they can be. Outside of the office, Lindsay enjoys running, barre classes, reading, water skiing, and enjoying all the outdoor activities that Richmond has to offer.
