After completing her Masters in OBG, she has pursued various training related to OBG to equip and upgrade her skills to treat patients better by attending courses in Obstetrics foetal ultrasound and Doppler, first trimester screen, laparoscopy, advanced techniques in Infertility. Personal Interest Dr Chitra along with her husband, Dr SC Karat, have worked with the Mission Hospitals in the Healing Ministry of the church from the time they completed their MBBS, serving the poor and needy guided by the motto of our alma mater “Not to be ministered unto but to minister”, until she came to Brunei Darussalam to work with Jerudong Park Medical Centre.
