Since 1978, working for the Experimental Embryology Department of the PAS Institute of Genetics and Animal Breeding in Jastrzębiec, in the fields of cryopreservation of animal embryos and the cultivation and in vitro fertilisation of oocytes. Pioneer of research concerning the vitrification of mammal embryos and oocytes. In 2000, in Japan, he received a patent in this field. Author of over 70 publications, including 22 peer-reviewed, original papers and over 30 reports at international conferences. Since 1994, head of the cryopreservation of human embryos and oocytes programme at the nOvum Clinic in Warsaw.
