Dr. Hoover is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry with more than 30 years’ experience in academic, community mental health, and private practice settings. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and attended medical school at the University of Connecticut in Mansfield. She completed her residency training at Bowman Gray School of Medicine and did a fellowship at Duke University. Dr. Hoover’s practice is limited to children and adolescents through high school.
