Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Nutrition in the Degree in Medicine and Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. Professor Responsible for the subject Applied Endocrinology (Faculty of Pharmacy). Professor of the subject Medicine and Humanitarian Aid (optional for students of 4º-6º of Medicine). Professor responsible for the subjects International Hospital Rotation I, II and III, (optional of the Faculty of Medicine). Tutor of the Faculty of Medicine (ordinary and foreign students). He has developed 4 teaching innovation projects. As researcher Author of more than 70 scientific articles published in national and international journals. Lead Guest Editor for a special issue on Graves' disease published by The Journal of Thyroid Research. Member of the advisory board of the journal Endocrinology and Nutrition, official organ of the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition. Editor of two books. Author of 31 chapters including two chapters in a manual on thyroid cancer (Elsvier, 2014) and two chapters in a manual on the clinic and laboratory (Elsevier Masson, 2006, re-edited and corrected in 2010 and 2014) . Invited lecturer in more than 15 congresses, courses or symposiums (3 international). Author of more than 70 communications in congresses, of which about half are in international congresses.

Research Intrest

 Thyroid diseases: thyroid cancer, thyroid nodule, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism and thyroid disease during gestation. Neuroendocrinology (diseases of the pituitary gland), diseases of the adrenal gland, diseases of the parathyroid glands and gynecological endocrinology.
