Biography

r. Rank is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty expertise in Hepatobiliary Pathology, Pancreatic Pathology, and Gastrointestinal Pathology. Dr. Rank attended medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed a residency in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from the University of Washington and another in Laboratory Medicine from the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Following residency, he continued at the University of Washington in a one-year fellowship in Gastrointestinal Pathology under the direction of Drs. Rodger Haggitt, Mary Bronner, and Cyrus Rubin. In 1999, after a second fellowship year in Gastrointestinal Pathology at UCLA and two years of private practice in Nevada, Dr. Rank joined the group that became CellNetix.   Dr. Rank volunteers with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnology Examination Committee and Pathology Assistant Examination Committee. He is currently on the executive committee of the Washington State Society of Pathologists and volunteers with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program.
