With over 18 years experience in the Ophthalmic Surgical industry, Jackie brings considerable knowledge and experience to the Vision Ophthalmology Group. She has worked for Spectrum Ophthalmics, the UK’s leading independent ophthalmic distribution company and during this time she was also involved with the strategic planning team which launched Spectrum-Thea (now Thea Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd) in the optometric and ophthalmic therapeutic market with the start-up of Spectrum Thea, a joint venture company between Spectrum and Thea Pharmaceuticals. Jackie has launched several new surgical innovations into the market including the Glaukos iStent and prior to this several innovative refractive technologies. Jackie has played a key role in managing and developing sales personnel and has a recognised professional experience in proctoring surgeons with several new surgical techniques alongside many innovative products. Jackie has a wealth of clinical experience grown from working with international suppliers and Ophthalmic surgeons around the United Kingdom and internationally.
