Ian has extensive operational and strategic management experience within the mental health and addictions services both with the DHB and non-government organisation sector. Ian was previously the General Manager, Mental Health, Waitemata DHB and has held roles of Regional Manager, Forensic Psychiatry Services; Regional Director, Mental Health and Addictions Services, Northern District Health Boards Support Agency; and General Manager, Mental Health and Intermediary Care Services, Counties Manukau DHBHe believes that excellent services stem from building effective partnerships with Clinicians, non-government organisation, Primary care and other social agencies.
