Originally from Gainsville, Georgia, Ginger earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Brenau University. She developed a strong interest in hand therapy early in Occupational Therapy school and focused on opportunities to advance her exposure and knowledge in this arena, winning a competitive hand therapy internship. After graduating, Ginger continued in hand therapy and after fulfilling the rigorous criteria and passing the board exam she achieved her dream of becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. She has now been a practicing CHT for 16 years, working with all types of upper extremity injuries and conditions, employing functional tasks and activities, manual skills and splinting skills. In her free time Ginger enjoys crafting, reading and spending time with her family.
