Florentin de Loppinot co-led the Total take-over process in Egypt, over Shell while he was working as Sales and Managing Director of Total Egypt (July 2010-Nov 2013). After a successful take-over, with the Shell Marketing Egypt renamed Cristal Marketing Egypt in December 2013, he was nominated Managing Director. De Loppinot held the position from December 2013 to August 2015, overseeing the rebranding of Shell as Total in Egypt during his term. He has worked with Total for over 15 years serving in different managerial positions in South Africa, France, Egypt, and Uganda. De Loppinot did his undergraduate at Sciences Po in Paris, France and also did an Executive Development Program (2002) at Wits Business School in South Africa.
