Dr Elgindy graduated from Zagazig University School of Medicine, Egypt in 1991 and her general grade was “Excellent with first grade of honor“and rank was the first. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Zagazig University hospitals, between 1993 and1996, . In 1997, She registered for medical doctorate (MD) in reproductive medicine, through a clinical attachment between reproductive medicine unit of Nile Badrawy Hospital, Cairo and the University of Zagazig. The thesis was (Correlation between oocyte morphology with fertilization rate and embryo quality in cases of intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection), presented in ESHRE in Tours, France, June 1999. Dr Elgindy attended many workshops in optimizing the techniques of assisted reproduction in France, Spain, Prague, Washington DC, San Francisco, Orlando and San Diego. She shared in the establishment of the center for reproductive medicine of Zagazig University in 1999 and has been the scientific director of the center between 2001 and 2004. In August 2004, she established Al-Banoon fertility center, Zagazig, Egypt, and has been the director of the center from 2004 until November 2015. She established Rahem fertility center (www.rahem.net) in December 2015 and currently she is the director of the center. Dr Elgindy is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the University of Zagazig since 2011 until now. In March 2012, she registered for PHD in Reproductive Medicine, Maastricht University; Holland. Subject of the thesis was {Long GnRH agonist protocol in IVF: approaches to optimizing treatment outcome}. She finished the PhD in November, 16, 2013. .Dr Elgindy has many presentations in national and international conferences (Egypt, Europe, Middle East and USA). She has many international publications in the highest ranked journals (like Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility, Reproductive biomedicine online). She is MEFS board member from 2013-2017. She is the editor of MEFS news journal.
