Dr. Ngo is the Medical Director for the Brain Injury Program at Brooks Rehabilitation. He provides care for patients with complex, catastrophic neurological and other brain injuries, both inpatient and outpatient through the entire continuum of brain injury rehabilitation. In addition, he directs the Comprehensive Spasticity Management Program, and utilizes the latest technology and treatment options, such as botulinum toxins (Botox) and intrathecal baclofen pumps, to improve patient function. He has research interests in the areas of brain injury medicine and spasticity management. Dr. Ngo came to Brooks from Wisconsin, where he completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his internship at the Michigan State University. His Bachelor’s degree is in Biomechanical Engineering, which he believes provided him with the foundation of excellent problem solving skills and team work required for the practice of rehabilitation medicine. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with subspecialty board certification in Brain Injury Medicine.
