His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.The formation of a diabetic foot clinic was a long awaited one and was materialized in 2010. The location is in a spacious rooms in the surgical OPD section. The functioning of the unit started in June 2010 under the leadership of Dr. Wael Baides and is at present assisted by Dr. Huda AlDubaib. More doctors are expected to join the unit in the future. The unit conducts daily out patient services. Minor procedures like dressings, debridement, amputations, and re amputations are performed here.
