Biography

 Cataract surgery, Refractive Surgery, Corneal and External Eye Disease Dr Tess Huynh is a highly respected ophthalmic surgeon with over 14 years of experience. Her areas of sub-specialty include cataract, refractive, corneal and external eye disease, including keratoconus treatment as well as all aspects of comprehensive ophthalmology. She is a clinical lecturer at Macquarie University Hospital and is involved in teaching for the Masters of Refractive Surgery Course at Sydney University. Dr Huynh has lectured extensively in Australia and the Asia Pacific at conferences and certification courses for national and international ophthalmologists. Dr Huynh has a passion for the less privileged and has been involved in charity work in Australia, Vietnam and the Philippines. She was awarded the Pharmacia Grant in conjunction with anhonourary position at the Royal Children’s Hospital International Charity Organisation for her work at the National Paediatric Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam. She has been an active volunteer surgeon and fundraiser for the Vietnam Vision Project since 2006.
