Dr. Porfirio P. Tica is a board-certified General, Endoscopic and Cosmetic Surgeon. With almost 30 years of experience, Dr. Tica is well respected and known in the Aesthetic Surgery community in the country and is the current president of the Philippine Liposuction Association. Dr. Porfirio P. Tica obtained his medical degree from University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Quenzon City, Phillipines. He is a member of numerous prestigious organizations in the country and abroad, such as: the Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Surgery Inc. (past president and fellow), Philippine Society of Liposuction Surgery Inc. (Founding Vice-President and current chairman of the board), fellow of the Philippine Association of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgeons, Philippine Medical Association, and charter member of the Philippine Academy for Head and Neck Surgery. He is a fellow of the Philippine College of Surgeons and the Philippine Society of General Surgeons. Dr. Tica is a Diplomate of the Philippine Board of Surgery. He has performed thousands of cosmetic surgical procedures and is famed for his meticulous eye for detail and natural results. In addition, he is also a mentor to aspiring cosmetic surgeons both in the Philippines and abroad. He has presented and spoken in many conferences concerning the latest trends in Cosmetic Surgery. His career in cosmetic surgery continues to shine when he was assigned to be the Medical Director of various hospitals and ambulatory surgical facilities in the country. In 2015, Dr. Tica introduced the first 4th generation Vaser LipoSelection in the country. Using the latest ultrasound technology, Vaser LipoSelection now gives the patients better results with much less downtime.
