Dr. Cruse, MBChB PhD FRCPath FFPath MBA, is a medical doctor and specialist pathologist who was educated at the Universities of Cape Town, Oxford and London and has postgraduate qualifications in cancer research (PhD), Clinical Histopathology (FRCPath, FFPath) and Business Administration (MBA). He has over thirty years' experience a senior healthcare manager in academic, public and private sector settings and has founded and sold two successful medical practices in Harley Street, London. Dr. Cruse has been involved in the design, funding, commissioning and operational management of four new hospitals and ten polyclinics with associated clinical laboratories in five countries (UK, RSA, KSA, UAE and Oman) including leading complex public-private partnerships. He also has two years' experience as head of healthcare in a Dubai-based private equity firm and has worked as CEO or Executive Director of private or listed healthcare companies in the UK, USA, RSA and UAE.
