Biography

  Dr. Wilson graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2013, Dr. Wilson graduated Cum Laude and with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) as a Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduating from university and prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Wilson lived in Calgary, Alberta where she trained as a member of the Canadian National Wrestling Team. During her ten year wrestling career that began in university, she competed at numerous international competitions including the Commonwealth Championships (2003 – Gold), Pan American Championships (2007 – Silver, 2009 – Gold), World University Championships (2002 – Gold, 2006 – Bronze), and Junior World Championship (2001 – Bronze). While she trained in Calgary, Dr. Wilson became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and worked as a personal trainer at the Talisman Centre, one of Canada’s largest recreational facilities. While attending CMCC she continued to work as a personal trainer in Toronto. Her clients have included top executives in companies such as Westjet, Remington Development Corporation, Global TV, Hariri Pontarini Architects and Mastercard. Since graduating from CMCC, Dr. Wilson has worked in private practice in the Niagara Region. During her clinical rotation at CMCC and in private practice she and has had the opportunity to treat a variety of patient populations. These include acute, chronic and repetitive strain injuries, WSIB cases, motor vehicle accidents and recreational, National and Olympic level athletes.
