Dr. Braithwaite qualified in 1986 and also has a B.Sc degree in Human Physiology. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the South West London rotation obtaining her membership in OBGYN (MRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995. Dr. Braithwaite then did a post membership training in Gynecology Ultrasound scan with Professor Davor at Kings College Hospital London. She obtained her certificate of specialist training in OBGYN in 1999 and was awarded the fellowship by the Royal College in 2007.Dr. Braithwaite had 10 years experience as a substantive consultant in London before arriving in Dubai. She also has extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology having carried out thousands of ultrasound scans, operations and deliveries. She has participated in research in her field and given several lectures in her field. While she was in London she taught students from Imperial medical school, the largest medical school in the UK. She is a well-respected world-renowned OBGYN specialist. Dr. Braithwaite sees patients with a wide range of gynecological problems such as ectopics, bleeding during pregnancy, early pregnancy ultrasound scans and fibroids screening for ovarian cancer, to name a few. She also runs a busy obstetrics practice delivering babies, including high risk pregnancies on a daily basis.
