Dr. Boen graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Biology and International Studies and continued her educational studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago. She is currently a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Boen has received numerous awards, honors, and accolades during her time in the medical field, including an AAD International Travel Grant Award. She has also been featured in a variety of publications, textbook chapters, and poster presentations and abstracts. Additionally, she holds a professional membership in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Chicago Dermatology Society.
