Dr. Michael Formenius is an internationally acclaimed cosmetic dentist and one of the most published exemplars in dental media. An expert in all facets of Dentistry with over 30 years of private practice, Dr. Michael is an authority among his peers when it comes to cosmetic, restorative and laser assisted cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Michael graduated from the Royal Dental College, Karolinska Institute, in 1982 and went on to building the first of his many private practices in Stockholm in the same year. He then established a private dental laboratory, and pioneered the brand ‘Dr. Michael’s – Your Reason to Smile’ with the top fifteen dentists and seven dental technicians in Sweden. He graduated with a Masters of Excellence in Facial Aesthetic Design from the prestigious Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in New York. He lives by the principle ‘Service above Self’, and has worked tremendously in giving back to the community. After more than fourteen years of distinguished practice in Stockholm, Dr. Michael brought his expertise to the UAE. In 1996, he founded Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic in Dubai together with his wife Dr. Cristina Formenius. His brainchild has now grown into three multispecialty state-of-the-art dental centers with twenty-one dental specialists, seven dental hygienists and over 60 staff.
