Biography

Ophthalmologist specialising in cornea and refractive surgery at the Ocular Microsurgery Institute. She is dedicated to refractive pathologies, cataract surgery and refractive surgery. She is also a specialist in dry eye and ocular surface diseases. She was trained as a subspecialist at the Ocular Microsurgery Institute (2006 – 2007). She has worked in the UK as a refractive surgeon at the London Vision Clinic (2011 – 2014) with Dan Z. Reinstein, where she participated in several research projects. She has also been a visiting researcher at international centres, such as the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, attached to the Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, in 2014, with doctors Reza Dana and Pedram Hamrah, and at the Price Vision Group, Indianapolis, USA, in 2007, with Dr Francis Prize.
