Biography

Dr. Marek Król is received  Postgraduate internship in Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in the Upper Silesian Medical Center in Katowice in 1991-1992 Invasive cardiology training course in the University Hospital in Worms, Germany Residency program in interventional cardiology in the Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud Post-graduate studies in interventional cardiology in the University of Val de Marne in Paris. He started his carrier as a Junior lecturer in the Third Clinic of Cardiology in the Medical University of Silesia and diagnostic procedures in the Hemodynamic Laboratory in the Upper Silesian Medical Center in Katowice. He performed the therapeutic procedures being the first in Poland to introduce the access technique with the radial artery puncture method as worked as Senior lecturer in the Third Clinic of Cardiology in the Medical University of Silesia Currently he is working as Head of the First Department of Cardiology and Angiology (Vascular Medicine) in UstroÅ„, component part of the Polish-American Heart Clinics.
