Biography

 Dr Lim Chee Hooi's specialty is Therapeutic (Endoscopic Submucosal Resection) Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy. He is an Accredited Screening Colonoscopist by Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy to perform Screening Derived Colonoscopy in England’s Bowel Cancer Screening Programme since 2008. He obtained his specialist training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine predominantly at the Leeds General Infirmary and St James University Hospital, United Kingdom. Dr Lim has successfully performed over 12,600 logged endoscopic procedures (Gastroscopy 6500, Colonoscopy 4500, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy 1600) from 1998 to 2014 in the United Kingdom.     Dr Lim was awarded Doctor of Medicine at the University of Leeds, UK in 2008 for his research into Clinical Implications of Gastrointestinal Epithelial Dysplasia in Surveillance Programme. He has a significant number of publications on a spectrum of clinical gastroenterology related subjects.  He was elected as Fellow of Royal College of Physicians, London in 2011.
