Dr.Shabbir did his clinical fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus, from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada 1998-1999 He also did two short term Pre fellowship training at Colorado Health Science, Colorado, USA 1996 and at Institute of Child Health, London1997 in the field of paediatric eye care and Adult strabismus. For Cataract IOL Microsurgery and Phaco he did fellowship training at Islamia Eye Hospital. Being a paediatric ophthalmologist trained from North America in Bangladesh He has working experience in the field for over 15 years. So far he has performed over 5000 paediatric cataract surgery to restore sight in children
