Dr. Karen Hale was born and raised in upstate New York. She studied to be a veterinarian in Edinburgh, Scotland, graduating in 2009. For the past 6 years she has worked in mixed animal practice in Maine, and in September 2016 she joined the TBAH team in order to focus exclusively on companion animal medicine and surgery. Her areas of particular interest are internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology. Dr. Hale has always had a special love for pet rabbits and enjoys working with them and their owners. She also loves sheep and if you have any lambing questions, she’s really good at pulling out stuck lambs.
