Dr. Harris is a Specialist Anaesthesiologist with over 15 years of international experience in India, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Ireland He graduated from Government Medical College, Alleppey (MBBS) and then specialty training at Calicut Medical College, Kerala, India DA and MD (Anaesthesiology) degrees. He underwent training in Ireland College of Anaesthetists, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and received his Fellowship of the College of Anaesthetists (FCARCSI) Dr. Harris international experience included super-specialty tertiary care teaching hospitals including Aseer Central Hospital, Abha, Saudi Arabia (4 years) and University College Hospital, Galway, Ireland He moved to the UAE in 2006 and worked with NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai till 2011. After that he was the head of an Ambulatory Surgical Centre in Dubai Health Care City as Medical Director and Chief Anaesthesiologist. He had been working as Specialist Anaesthetist with Mediclinic City Hospital, Mediclinic Welcare Hospital and City Center Clinic in Dubai His special interest lies in critical care and he used to lead the Adult Intensive Care Departments in Aseer Central Hospital, Abha and NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai His clinical experience includes handling general and regional anaesthetic management of surgical procedures of all common specialties for all age groups including paediatric patients His expertise in ultrasound guided nerve blocks and regional analgesia helps patients’ post-operative recovery free of pain, resulting in early mobilisation with minimal side-effects. He has done major surgeries like knee ACL reconstruction and shoulder rotator-cuff repair routinely in a day surgery setup
