Biography

Relevant contributions to research on the field of my expertise: metabolic disease and new therapeutic approaches to improve the life quality of so many people who suffer from diabetes and hypertension.Also my aim as a researcher is to connect the basic science findings to clinical and patient approach, in particular diabetes, exercise epigenetic modification and mitochondria function.  During more than 13 years on the research field in South America, Europe and North American, I have been growing professionally, achieving recently a position as a Senior Scientist in Detroit R&D Inc. Due the unique set of excellent laboratory structure and support provided in US, Portugal and Brazil, I was able to published more than 25 articles in relevant journals receiving recognition from the scientific community. Over the years, I accumulate awards and grant support from different institutions. All these grant support helped me to move toward my professional goals.
