Dr. Joy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Georgia States University. After her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Forensic Scientist for two years before attending dental school. Dr. Joy obtained her Doctoral of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Medical College of Georgia, now known as Augusta University. She furthered her dental training and knowledge… Dr. Joy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Georgia States University. After her undergraduate studies, she worked as a Forensic Scientist for two years before attending dental school. Dr. Joy obtained her Doctoral of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Medical College of Georgia, now known as Augusta University. She furthered her dental training and knowledge by completing an additional year of General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Medical Center Knoxville, TN. Dr. Joy is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is committed to providing the best dental care possible to her patients and continues to advance her skills by actively continuing her education. Dr. Joy’s personal life mostly consists of spending time with her family, her husband, Giang and their baby girl, Isla, who is fifteen months old. She enjoys exercise, cooking and watching her favorite show: “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
