Dr Guo graduated from National University of Singapore. He subsequently specialised in Orthopaedic Surgery and did his fellowship in spinal surgery. His subspecialty interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery, scoliosis surgery, kyphoplasty and cervical disc arthroplasty. He currently practises at Singapore General Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital. He is also a visiting spine consultant at Kadang Kerbau Women and Children’s Hospital and at the Singapore School Health Service Scoliosis Clinic. Besides clinical work, Dr Guo has a passion for teaching and research. He currently teaches at the Duke – NUS Graduate Medical School and the National University of Singapore. He is an invited speaker at several regional conferences and hospitals. He has organized many spine specialty courses. He was awarded the National Medical Research Council – STPB award to do research at Harvard Medical School.
