Chan is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma surgery and fracture care. He completed his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and his masters degree from Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Chan earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio. He completed an orthopaedic residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, as well as a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Tampa General Hospital/Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He also completed an additional AO International Fellowship focused on orthopaedic trauma with Professor Höntzsch, MD in Tubingen, Germany.
