Associate professor on the Master’s Course in Retina and Vitreous run by the IMO and theFaculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and part-time teacher on the retina modules at the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology, ESASO. His main areas of interest are the pathology ofhigh myopia, retinal detachment, severe ocular trauma and diabetic retinopathy. His daily practice, medical as well as surgical, is also oriented towards AMD treatment, retinal vascular disease and diabetic macular pathology.
