Dr. Bodnar holds an MD from Semmelweis University, as well as a Master’s in Health Management. He is a member of the European Diabetes Society and European Healthcare Management and Financial Consulting. When he isn’t at the hospital, he enjoys traveling with his family and visiting various countries, in particular the USA. He resides in Budapest, Hungary.

 Dr. Attila Bodnar has been practicing medicine for over 15 years. Prior to being the General Director of the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital, he served as a doctor and general director of two other hospitals. Even at a young age, Dr. Bodnar had a fascination with the medical field. With an inherent desire to want to help people, he used this desire as motivation even as a child. Dr. Bodnar is incredibly persistent and believes this has been the key to his success. He challenges every day with perseverance and a goal-orientated mentality.  Dr. Bodnar has dedicated his time both inside and outside the hospital to find new ways to constantly improve. He speaks at numerous conferences on health management and internal management.  A highly skilled general director and doctor, he shows great expertise in leadership, managing the hospital, and general medical practices.
