Dr.Anisur Rahman has over 26 years experience in General and Laparoscopic Surgery. He obtained MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1982; after obtaining his M.Sc in Medicine from Canada in 1986, he did his FCPS from Bangladesh in 1990 and FRCS from UK in 1995. He has special interest in Minimal Access Surgery (Laparoscopic Surgery), for which he received training from Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, UK and Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow, UK. He regularly undertakes variety of complex surgical procedures on patients ranging from young to senior citizens. Dr. Rahman is renowned in the country for his expertise in managing all kinds of breast pathology including breast abscess, seroma, fibroadenoma, gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) and breast cancer; he has performed thousands of breast surgeries including breast conserving surgery (Lumpectomy) and surgical removal of all part of a breast (Mastectomy). So far he has performed over 2000 breast surgeries, which includes more than 1000 Mastectomy, over 800 breast tumor surgeries and other procedures.
