Dr. Andrew John William Heath, M.D., Ph.D., serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Protherics Salt Lake City, Inc. Dr. Heath served as Chief Executive Officer of Protherics PLC from September 1997 to 2008 and Therapeutic Antibodies Inc., since March 1998. He held senior positions at Astra AB. He served as Associate Medical Director of Glaxo Sweden. He is a healthcare and biopharmaceutical executive with in-depth knowledge of US and UK capital markets and international experience in marketing and sales, R & D and business development. Dr. Heath has considerable experience in the pharmaceutical industry with Glaxo Inc. and Astra USA, Inc. From 1993 to 1996, he was responsible for more than 500 sales and marketing professionals for Astra USA as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. In that post, he had profit and loss responsibility for Astra United States' pharmaceutical portfolio. He served as Chief Executive Officer of AeroGen, Inc., from 1996 to 1998 and served as its President. After a career in research and clinical medicine at Vanderbilt University, he joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1989. He has been Non-Executive Chairman at Shield Therapeutics plc. since February 26, 2016. He serves as Chairman of Protherics Morvus Technology Ltd. He has been a Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Oxford BioMedica PLC since May 2011. He served as Chairman of the Board of Morvus Technology Ltd. Dr. Heath served as Vice Chairman and Director of Therapeutic Antibodies Inc. since March 1998. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Novacyt Société Anonyme since June 29, 2015.
