Biography

Diana studied at Otago Medical School and firstly completed training as a paediatrician. This has given her experience in aspects of general paediatric health, and in specialty areas of paediatric allergy, paediatric rheumatology and adolescent health. She then worked in the Dermatology Departments at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children and University College Hospital in London and in the Dermatology Department of Auckland Hospital to obtain qualifications as a dermatologist for both adults and children. She is one of only a handful of doctors internationally to hold dual fellowships in paediatrics and dermatology. Her areas of special interest include eczema, acne, birthmarks and genetic disorders of the skin. Diana divides her time between Starship Children’s Hospital and private practice.
