Biography

Daphne’s experience in Massage Therapy makes her very effective in the areas of medical massage and sports massage. Her treatment aim for her patients is to provide soft tissue manipulation to reduce pain, manage swelling, aid recovery and improve function. Her passion is Manual Lymphatic Drainage, a specialised therapeutic method which reduces swelling in acute trauma, cancer (lymphedema) and post-surgery patients. Professional Qualifications: Daphne has a Bachelor of Physical Education (Sports Science) from The University of New Brunswick, Canada; a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Kikkawa College in Toronto, Canada; and certification with the Dr Vodder School International for Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy in Canada. Previous Experience: Daphne has 18 years of experience working as a Massage Therapist in Canada. For 10 years she ran her own massage therapy business, which expanded to include other healthcare practitioners. She also has experience as an educator, having been a Lead Instructor at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy for 10 years, including having held the role of Director of Education.
