Biography

Celia Landmann Szwarcwald is a Professor of the National School of Public Health and Senior Researcher of the Institute of Communication and Information Science and Technology in Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She completed PhD in Public Health, in 1993, National School of Public Health, and her Post-doctoral studies in spatial statistical analysis in 1995, Southern Methodist University, TX, EUA. She works in the areas of biostatistics, epidemiology and health information. She has over 100 articles published in national and international journals and has coordinated several surveys in Brazil.
