Biography

Chris Shallow combines over 30 years of practical business experience in business-to-business marketing and management roles, mainly in the IT industry, including as a Director in PwC, Prague, with over fifteen years of academic experience leading marketing related courses. He holds a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan Business School, Wales, (2009). His especial interests are branding and Corporate Social Responsibility. He has qualified as a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. At AAU, he teaches: Brand Management, Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Thesis, Marketing Research. He has also taught Media and Marketing Communications, plus Strategic Marketing Analysis and Planning. Chris is an experienced BBA and MBA thesis student mentor and his courses receive high student evaluations. Chris is closely involved with university initiatives concerning best academic practices both within his department and university-wide. Outside the university, Chris is active as a personal mentor and consultant to local marketing managers, NGOs and SMEs.
