Dr. Salzberg is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Liver Foundation. He also is a member of the Crohn's Colitis Foundation of America and has served on its board of trustees and medical advisory committee. In addition to his regular practice, Dr. Salzberg serves as medical director of Atlanta Gastroenterology Specialists and is one of the largest gastroenterological research divisions in the southeast. He has conducted over 100 clinical trials in all aspects of gastroenterology and serves as a consultant on the advisory boards of numerous pharmaceutical companies.
