Before that, Dr. Lee grew up in Marietta, GA and graduated from Alan C. Pope High School in the East Cobb area. He then went on to UGA to receive a degree in Microbiology. While at UGA, he met his wife, Dr. Katherine Lee. Dr. Katherine Lee graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, also in 2003. While in dental school, she became so passionate about patient education and motivation concerning oral health that she also enrolled in the public health program and earned a Master of Public Health degree.
