Boris Malyugin MD, PhD Professor of Ophthalmology Boris Malyugin, Professor of Ophthalmology, Deputy Director General (R&D, Edu.) at the S. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery State Institution (Moscow, Russia). He is the President of the Russian Society of Ophthalmologists and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Board member, as well as the member of International Intraocular Implant Club and Academia Ophthalmologica Internationalis. Dr. Malyugin is an internationally recognized expert in the field of modern anterior segment surgery, establishing himself at the forefront of advanced cataract and anterior segment surgery by pioneering numerous techniques and technologies. He is well known for his educational activities in Russia and abroad. He is having multiple international awards and was invited to participate with lectures and live surgery sessions in numerous national and supranational meetings. Dr. Malyugin has published in the literature extensively, co-edited several books in different fields of ophthalmology, and contributed to the printed and video atlases of ophthalmic surgery and video Journal of cataract and refractive surgery.
