Barbara received a BSc in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph, an MSc in Nutrition and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the University of Alberta. Barbara has published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals, written book chapters and newsletters, and has given many presentations on nutrition-related topics.
Barbara Marriage, Ph.D., R.D., is associate director, Global Regulatory Science and Innovation at Abbott. She is a foremost expert in genetic metabolic disorders and has conducted extensive global research in pediatric nutrition contributing to the development of nutrition therapies that help children with metabolic disorders get the nutrition they need to flourish. Barbara’s research interests include maternal nutrition, early programming, childhood obesity and inborn errors of metabolism.
