Biography

Antonella De Pasquale got his master degree (24/10/2007) and his PhD in Physics (23/05/2011), at University of Bari Aldo Moro, under the supervision of Prof. P. Facchi and Prof. S. Pascazio. During his PhD he spent a month at University of Naples Federico II as exchange resercher in the group of Prof. G. Marmo. He also spent three months as exchange resercher at the Waseda University of Tokyo, in collaboration with Prof. K. Yuasa. In 2011 he moved to Pisa as a postdoc in Scuola Normale Superiore, in the group of Prof. V. Giovannetti and Prof. R. Fazio. Then, in 2015 he got a position for two year as senior research fellow at Istituto Nanoscienze - CNR in Pisa.

Research Intrest

Antonella De Pasquale is a theoretical physicist working on Quantum Information Science. his main research interests deal open quantum systems (quantum channels) and quantum metrology/quantum estimation theory, the latter with particular interest towards applications in quantum thermodynamics. He is also interested in techniques of quantum tomography, and on the developments of analytic tools for the exact solution of models for many body systems. Finally, he is an expert of random matrix theory, which he had used to address the properties of bipartite entanglement in large quantum systems.
