Total E & P has appointed Adewale Fayemi, as the new General Manager for its operations in Uganda.Mr. Adewale, a Nigerian, becomes the third Head of the French Major’s subsidiary in Uganda in the past three years, replacing François Rafin who barely served a year. He comes at a time when the company is working towards securing production licenses and preparing for the development phase.He has worked with Total E&P for 22 years. Before his appointment in Uganda, Adewale was the Managing Director of Total E&P in Ivory Coast.Prior to that, he worked with Total E&P Nigeria as the Executive General Manager.
