He previously held roles in Nigeria, Denmark, Norway, Venezuela and the U.K. He also has five years prior oil field experience with Schlumberger in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Indonesia.
Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Rice University, a Master of Science in accounting from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Mr. Smith also serves on the board of MemberSource Credit Union and is a Jones Partner with the Jones School at Rice University.
