Dr. Wiam Khadra PhD, is a member of The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion(ABCP), and member of The Academy of Cardiovascular Perfusion(AACP). In addition to receiving his Doctorate from LaSalle University in 1997, Dr. Khadra attained his Master Degrees in Pharmacology and Cardiovascular Medical Science from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in 1994. Currently, Dr. Khadra is a Research Assistant Professor and teaching Faculty at the Department of Anesthesiology at The State University of New York at Buffalo, Director of the Department of Cardiac Perfusion at The VA Western New York (WNY) Healthcare System. Dr. Khadra has received numerous honors and awards for his contributions to the medical and pharmaceutical fields, chief among them the Performance Award VA WNY Healthcare system in 2007 and 2006, and Recognition Award VA WNY Healthcare System 2010. Dr. Khadra’s research interest is mainly in the cardiovascular and anesthesiology field, focusing on both the pharmacological and physiological aspects. He has many publications to his name.
