Biography

 Dr. Garrett is a native of Philadelphia and currently practices general surgical and cytopathology as a locum tenens pathologist. He received his undergraduate degree at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in AP/CP in the Army at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, and later in career a fellowship in cytopathology at Drexel University in Philadelphia. After residency, he served for ten years as a staff pathologist in the US Army, both at the 34th General Hospital in Augsburg, Germany, and at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. After leaving the military, he entered private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area working in both the hospital and outpatient settings.
