He is a member of the California Hospital Association, an organization in which represents all California hospitals, where he serves on the Board of Trustees as well as on the Executive Committee. Dr. Lingenfelter also serves as the President of the United Hospital Association. He received his doctorate in Institutional Management from Pepperdine University. During his professional career, in the healthcare field, he has been the Chief Executive Officer of six California hospitals such as College Hospital Costa Mesa. He also severed his country for over 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as both a non-commissioned officer and a commissioned officer.
