Biography

 April 22, 1952, Kirov. 1975 – Navigation Department of the Civil Aviation Academy in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) , engineer-navigator. Up to 1985 – worked at the Joint Squadron of the Ural Department of Civil Aviation (Sverdlovsk, now Ekaterinburg), navigator for An-24, An-12 and Tu-154. 1985 – worked at the Central Office of International Air Services (Moscow). Navigator for Tu-154, IL-86, An-124; lead navigator-instructor at the Training Center for Aeroflot Flight Crews. Since July 18, 1996 – First Deputy General Director of JSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines" for the organization and management of production processes. Since March 12, 1997 – Acting General Director of JSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines." May 1997-2009 – General Director of JSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines." Since February 1999 – Member of the Management Board of JSC "Aeroflot – Russian Airlines." June 26, 1999 – re-elected member of the Board of Directors. Specialist 1st class. Member of the Governing Board of the International Air Transport Association. April 3, 2009 – by Order of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin – RF Deputy Minister of Transport. Since June 2010 – Member of the Board of Directors of JSC UAC.
