Tim Murphy is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for TE Connectivity. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s HR strategy to ensure TE has the talent, culture, and organization needed to achieve its business objectives. Tim joined TE Connectivity as Vice President, Global Talent Management in November 2011. From 1993 to 2011, Tim held a variety of HR Business Partner and Center of Excellence leadership positions at Merck. As Executive Director, Talent Management, he led a Center of Excellence that supported 90,000 employees and was responsible globally for performance management, succession planning, career development, and workforce planning. Tim has a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
